This quote from Kate Smith, a color expert and founder of sensationalcolor.com (a full scale website helping professionals and consumers worldwide gain color knowledge) inspired us to attempt to reinterpret the beautiful runway styles from MIU MIU 2010 fall collection.We love the bright, MIU MIU, orange collar and the vibrant, orange handbag combined with the subtle tones of the black and lavender. Our version utilizes a scarf and oversized bag, but we think it still translates well and results in a terrific plus size runway inspired look appropriate enough for the office. Kate’s explanation of color meanings made the endeavor even more fun!
